This is one of the most common questions I get from new massage clients. There…
Every two minutes, a child is exploited by human trafficking.
Let that sink in for a moment.
Every two minutes, a child—oftentimes as young as 5-years-old— is exploited by human trafficking.
How does this happen? How is human trafficking a multi-billion dollar industry? How are millions of people—men, women, and yes, children—the victims of what amounts to modern day human slavery?
The evils of human trafficking have long weighed heavily on my heart. The fact that Kansas City is a hotbed of human trafficking activity only makes the gravity of the situation that much worse—it happens scarily close to home, right under our very noses.
So I’m doing something about it.
Join Me for the “Do Good, Feel Good” Event in Support of Rapha House
[BOOK APPT HERE]
On Saturday, November 9th, I’m teaming up with Reflexologist and Certified Healing Touch Practitioner Annamarie McBride for our “Do Good, Feel Good” event in support of Rapha House, an incredible organization that rescues and rehabilitates children who are victims of human trafficking.
I’ve long been a supporter of Rapha House because of the amazing work they do to aid and heal the most vulnerable victims of human trafficking.
For one day only, Annamarie and I will be offering a special massage session with all proceeds benefiting Rapha House. I hope you’ll join us as we do what we can to help fight this horrible epidemic in our society.
Here’s How it Works
Book a combined reflexology and massage session (that includes aromatherapy) for Saturday, Nov. 9th and we will donate the proceeds from every session to Rapha House.
You’ll receive a 30-minute reflexology treatment to your feet from Reflexologist and Certified Healing Touch Practitioner Annamarie McBride and a head, neck and shoulder massage from Suzanne Schaper, Board Certified Massage Therapist at the same time.
A $60 non-refundable fee is due at the time of booking. Schedule now—only eight sessions are available!
Can’t make your session? No worries—you can send someone in your place!
What is Reflexology?
If you’ve never tried reflexology before, here’s what you should know:
Reflexology is a type of acupressure based on the theory that your feet and hands have reflex areas that correspond to other parts of the body, particularly certain organs and glands.
Stimulating these reflexes in the feet with a specific technique is a natural, medication-free way to help with many health problems that may occur elsewhere in the body. For example, applying pressure to the tip of your big toe can stimulate your brain.
Combined with an upper body massage session, reflexology offers a rejuvenating experience for the entire body.
Do Good, Feel Good and Help Us Fight Human Trafficking
Human trafficking is human slavery, plain and simple. Though it is a worldwide epidemic, it happens right here at home, in our own communities.
You can do your part to help fight human trafficking—and feel amazing at the same time—on November 9.
